He grew up in Canada in a Vancouver Special. He studied law at Oxford and is now a lawyer in London.He completed Curtis Brown Creative’s flagship novel writing course in 2024 and won first place in Writers’ Forum magazine’s short story competition.He was selected by Alexander Rigby (acquiring editor and LGBTQ+ Instagram curator at Penguin Random House) for the 2026 Allegheny Workshop, and by Casey McQuiston (author of Red, White & Royal Blue) for the 2026 Lambda Literary Retreat.
